Skive (DKSKV)

The port of Skive consists of three parts. To the north is the marina. In the middle is the rectangular harbor basin of the commercial port and in the south one finds the Yollenhafen.

North Atlantic Winter Seasonal Zone II, Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31.

Skive is situated in the SE part of Limfjord, on the Kattegat coast of Denmark.

LOA 140m, beam 20m, draught 4.0m.

Anchoring in the dredged channel is prohibited. Anchoring is suitable anywhere else in Skive Fjord where depth and swinging room permit. Anchoring is considered dangerous in an area centred about 1nm NW of Ertebolle Hoved (56°48.0'N 009°09.0°E), throughout Lovns Bredning and in an area centred about 1.5nm from the head of Skive Fjord in the approaches to Skive.

The harbour is approached through Skive Fjord which is entered W of Jelse Odde (56°40'N 009°09'E) and extends nearly 7nm S; dredged channels lead through the inner part of Skive Fjord to the harbour entrance. There are no lights between Aalborg and Lшgstшr.

Arriving from E side via Aalborg, max draft in Logstor is 4m and pilotage is compulsory between Aalborg and Logstor when draft exceed 3.1m, and through bridges in Aalborg when vessels length exceed 80m (LOA) Max airdraft through Sallingsund-bridge is 26m

A light is exhibited at the head of the S mole of Sydhavn.

Customs allowances: One bottle of spirits and 200 cigarettes per person are allowed. If quantities in excess of the allowance are found the penalty is a fine. The size of the fine depends on the amounts in excess of allowances. Clearance is handled by the agent but Customs Officers may board at any time to check the validity of the documents handed to the agent. Immigration: There are no restrictions for crew. Passengers of nationalities which require a visa are only allowed transit in Denmark for 36 hours.

There is no demand for an ETA by Port Authorities. ETA messages should be passed to the ship's agent who will relay it to relevant parties (port, stevedores, work gangs, etc). Pilot requires ETA at boarding point 24, 12 and 4 hours prior to arrival.

Pratique is not required for Danish ports. Agent may request a Maritime Declaration of Health from the Master. Ship Sanitation Control and Exemption Certificates can be renewed in large ports.
