Taizhou port, formerly known as Gaogang, is located on the Changjiang (Yangtze) River.

LOA 229.07m, beam 38m, draught 15m, 84,992DWT.

Approx 360,000,000t of cargo, 330,000TEU and 243,000 vessels handled annually.

Port anchorage: Located inside port shoal in a depth of 10.0m, mud and sand bottom, good holding. Vessels up to 25,000DWT can use the anchorage. Luochengzhou anchorage: Located inside No 2 Red Buoy with a depth of 10.0m, mud and sand bottom, good holding. Vessels up to 15,000DWT can use the anchorage.

Compulsory. Pilotage is available during daylight hours. The pilot boards at the Liuhe pilot anchorage.

Entry and departure after sunset is not possible.
